The numbers back it up. Oran Park alone is welcoming around 100 new residents every week, and the suburb’s main trade area is projected to grow from roughly 55,000 people today to over 144,000 by 2041.
What’s driving it? A combination of affordable new homes, master-planned communities, serious government infrastructure investment, and proximity to a brand-new international airport. Families aren’t just moving here for cheaper land. They’re moving here because the lifestyle is genuinely catching up with the price tag. New housing estates are releasing land regularly, and the suburb’s infrastructure is finally matching its population.
The big transport advantage : Leppington has its own train station on the T2 Leppington & Inner West Line. From Leppington Station, it takes around 45 minutes to reach the Domestic Airport terminal and around 15 minutes to reach Liverpool CBD. For a family where one partner commutes into the city, this is a genuine selling point.
Leppington Village is the suburb’s growing retail hub, with supermarkets, specialty stores, and services all within easy reach of the new estates.
The suburb is also close to Western Sydney Parklands, offering walking and cycling paths that give families access to open green space without driving anywhere.Train access, new estates, and a growing town centre — get your relocation sorted early. This is the section most families ask about first. The good news: the NSW Government is making a significant push to catch up with population growth in this corridor.
Leppington and Denham Court High School is under construction right now and confirmed to open for Year 7 students in Term 1, 2027. It will be co-located with Leppington Public School at 128-134 Rickard Road, Leppington, and will feature 51 classrooms supporting up to 1,000 students, specialist workshops, a multipurpose hall, library, sports courts, and playing fields.

Leppington Public School is also receiving a significant upgrade, with Stage 1 construction underway delivering 20 new classrooms and three support classrooms, plus a new 60-student preschool.
Leppington was identified as being in the top 10 fastest growth areas for school enrolments in NSW, with student numbers tripling between 2018 and 2023.
Private options in the corridor include Leppington Anglican College and Unity Grammar. That’s changing.
Camden Valley Way and Cowpasture Road are both earmarked for major widening as part of a $65 million joint planning program announced in September 2025. Camden Valley Way between the M5 and Narellan Road is set for widening from four to six lanes, and Cowpasture Road from the M7 to Camden Valley Way is also planned for a four-to-six-lane upgrade. These routes serve suburbs that have added over 20,000 residents and 5,000 jobs in recent years.
On Camden Valley Way itself, a widening and flood mitigation project between Kirkham Lane and Hilder Street commenced in November 2025 and is expected to complete by mid-2027.
For train commuters, the T2 Line from Leppington runs directly into the City Circle via Town Hall, with services through Granville and the inner west.
If you’re planning a move into one of the area’s growing communities, working with a trusted Leppington removalist can make the process much easier, particularly when navigating new developments and estate access. This is the infrastructure story that changes everything for this corridor.
Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport opens for passenger flights on 26 October 2026. The airport sits approximately 15 minutes’ drive from Oran Park.
The M12 Motorway opened toll-free on 14 March 2026, providing a direct 16-kilometre link from the M7 at Cecil Hills to The Northern Road at Luddenham, right at the airport’s doorstep. It’s a $2.1 billion project jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments.
Interim free bus services are already planned to connect the airport to Oran Park, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Leppington, and other nearby suburbs until the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport line opens (expected mid-to-late 2027).
For families buying in this corridor now, the airport means future job opportunities, easier interstate travel, and long-term property demand. It’s not just an airport. It’s the engine of a new economic district. Suburb Drive to Airport Bus from July 2026? Roads and access : In active development estates, some streets may still be under construction or have temporary surfaces. Always confirm your street’s access status with your builder or estate manager before booking your move.
Narrow driveways and tight kerbs : New estates often have tighter turning circles than established suburbs. A professional removalist in Campbelltown who knows the area will plan for this.
Dust and site conditions : If your home is in a newly released stage, neighbouring blocks may still be under construction. Expect dust, and protect your belongings accordingly.
Parking and truck access : Some estate covenants restrict where trucks can park. Check with your estate manager beforehand.
Timing : Avoid booking your move on the same day as your settlement if possible. Give yourself at least a day’s buffer.
Working with a removalist in Gregory Hills or the broader Campbelltown corridor means working with someone who has already navigated these estates and knows what to expect.

Saif is the one you'll usually meet on the driveway. More than 7,000 Sydney moves later he still runs the daily schedule, briefs each crew before they leave the depot, and jumps on the jobs with tight access, heavy pianos or a same-day deadline.
He built the way we wrap and load: blankets on every timber edge, mattress covers as standard, straps against the wall of the truck rather than through your furniture. If a job runs into a stairwell nobody measured or a lift the building forgot to book, Saif is the phone call that sorts it out while the crew keeps working.
