How much do removalists cost in Sydney?
Local moves are charged at a fixed hourly rate that includes the truck, the crew, all equipment and wrapping. A 2-3 bedroom move typically runs 3-6 hours. We give you the rate and a realistic hour range in writing before you book.
Are you insured?
Yes — public liability and goods-in-transit insurance, and we're fully licensed. Certificates of currency are sent to building management on request.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks for weekends and end-of-month dates. We often fit in mid-week moves at short notice, so it's always worth calling.
Do you charge for stairs, heavy items or wrapping?
No. Stairs, blanket wrapping, dismantling, reassembly and equipment are all included in the hourly rate.
What areas do you cover?
All of Sydney plus the Blue Mountains, Macarthur, Illawarra, Central Coast and Southern Highlands — over 300 suburbs — plus long distance moves to Canberra, Newcastle, regional NSW towns, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
What happens if something gets damaged?
Tell your crew leader on the day and call the office. We assess it straight away and our insurance covers goods in transit — it's rare, and we don't dodge it.
